Featured Violin – The Liu Xi

Powerful and responsive, yet soooo easy to play! Built in Shanghai in the workshop of Liu Xi in 2010 with nicely antiqued, flamed maple and straight-grained spruce, it features boxwood fittings with four fine tuners and ebony fingerboard. I have fitted a new bridge and soundpost and new Tonica strings.

This 4/4 size violin comes complete with a very nice Brazilwood bow and carrying case.

While the aesthetically pleasing Liu Xi is not generally known for its power and projection, I have dissembled the instrument and re-tuned the plates, making it the dynamo available to you! Please contact me for a trial today!
