In our travels about the city today, my wife and I stopped for coffee at this little shop on 33rd. As I mentioned in an earlier post about the Mayfair Hardware, these few blocks on 33rd, obviously the hub of the Mayfair community, have some unique businesses. A wander through the Antiques and Coffee shop is a trip down memory lane.
Chris Kinzel greets customers with cheery chat and banter. The west wall of the store has a plethora of freshly ground beans for sale, and teas of all kinds are prominently on display. While sipping our coffee, Diane spied a posted Star Phoenix piece about Prime Minister MacDonald’s silverware. I had forgotten about this article:
By the way, the coffee was excellent and there is also a nice selection of ice cream flavours. Stop in for a visit!
