Character: Myrtle Runciman, played by Gwen Seed. It appears Myrtle bleeds green. A true Sask patriot! Along with Fitzy’s grandmother and Emma Leroy, makes up the ‘unofficial old lady triumverate’ of every Dog River committee. My most memorable episode featuring Myrtle was the one where she replaced Lacey on the curling team even though she had just had hip replacement surgery. HAVE A HEART!!!
