He’s done it again! The nine stories in this collection could blend almost seamlessly with Vanderhaeghe’s first collection of short stories, ‘Man Descending’, published more than thirty years ago.
‘Daddy Lenin’ is certainly an odd title for a book. I found this particular story a bit hard to follow at first, but once I actually applied myself, it was as brilliant and complex as any of the others.
It is, naturally, another winner of the GG Award.
