While at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon today, I took the time to tour the Agricultural Hall of Fame. Perusing the literally hundreds of significant contributors to Saskatchewan agricultural, I was pleasantly surprised to find some familiar faces among the who’s who of the industry.
Right there alongside the likes of legends like Seager Wheeler and William Motherwell were the mother-daughter duo of Isobel Beeler and Donna Edwards, local farmer/rancher Clayton Hobman, and researcher Dr. Ross Greenshields, originally of Semans.
There were many other people I either knew or recognized, and I hope I haven’t missed too many of the heroes from the Nokomis-Semans-Govan area. My apologies for the photo quality. Lighting wasn’t very conducive to picture taking.
