Last week, hearing of some Saskatoon night club patrons tackling and holding an armed robbery suspect reminded me of this bizarre and sad story. I couldn’t remember exactly when it happened, thinking it might have been in the early eighties. Mister google straightened me out, though. Fowl supper season in 1976 would prove to be a time that would go down in infamy in the sleepy little berg of Sedley, Saskatchewan, just outside Regina.
