Stone by Stone (V) — The Medicine Wheel

In Western Canada, the medicine wheel, while obviously far less extravagant than Stonehenge, is every bit as mysterious. No doubt also built for ceremonial use, their exact purpose will likely forever remain unknown.

As with many ancient sites, modern indigenous people still leave offerings. Many wheels are still intact while others, like the one at Majorville, have been tampered with.
